A most famous movie is Dil Dhadakne Do movie. The song of Dil Dhadakne Do is sung by Arijit Singh. The director of this movie is Farah Khan, who also directed films like Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham, Om Shanti Om and Tum Bin. Dil Dhadakne Do tells the story of Aarohi who falls in love with Sooraj who happens to be one year older than her. They start writing letters to each other but cannot see each other because he lives in London and she resides in Mumbai where they grew up together as children. Aarohi's father is a strict vegetarian and does not approve of his daughter dating someone outside the community. He ignores their relationship for many years. Soon, Aarohi's father dies and her mother remarries. Soon after Aarohi goes to London to visit her family and Sooraj, who has just graduated from medical school, joins her there. Her mother disapproves of Sooraj because he is Muslim and she tries to get him to convert into Hinduism. However, Sooraj decides that he will not convert into Hinduism or accept any other religion but Islam because it is the true religion of his heart. Then Aarohi's mother sends Aarohi's brother (Sooraj) to live in London with them to make sure he will not be able to meet Aarohi. Sooraj is shown how much his sister loves him in the letters they write back and forth. Then one day, Sooraj's mother tells him that Aarohi has joined a party that is against Hindus and she also tells him about the party that she belongs to. Her mother says that her daughter does not love him anymore because she converted into Hinduism. Aarohi explains to her mother that she did not convert into Hinduism at all. She did it because her father was not very happy with Sooraj's family for having him live there. But she told Sooraj the truth and apologized to him. Aarohi does not want to change who she is just because her brother wishes it so. Sooraj tells his mother that he will be fine living in London because if he was not allowed to live in London, he would have still found a way to live there without his sister knowing about it. After their conversation, Aarohi gets ready for her party with other girls who are against Hinduism too. Meera tells Sooraj that she is not part of the party because she is still Hindu. One day, Aarohi goes to see Sooraj at home and walks in on her mother's henna party. She follows everyone around and sees Sooraj standing behind her mother while wearing a moustache. He tells her that he did it so his mother would let him live with them. Then he asked her if they can go back to their old way of living when they can do whatever they want without any concern for what someone thinks of them. This leaves Aarohi very confused about whether to stay in London with him or go back to Mumbai with her parents after all this time apart. 8eeb4e9f32 19
